bicycle, walk and soak up the ambience of local village life.
For real adventure take
a 7-islands camping trip, or just
read
in a hammock or beanbag and soak up our gorgeous view. Enjoy
delicious living-live raw/semi-raw food whilst basking in quaint island-style
bird-nests over the water (weather permitting) and teach yourself
about holistic health. The "Alternative Natural Health Center" is a place to self-heal, rejuvenate and regenerate mind, body, soul and spirit with a difference. Many of our facilities, furniture, dishes and eating utensils are made from natural materials like bananas leaves or by the local people. Most rooms have good sea breezes; are semi-open, semi-private, some have attached bathrooms. We also offer a small dorm-style rest area for day-spa users, which the really budget conscious can use for sleeping too. We recommend you join our 1 month or longer cost-effective program to experience the full benefits of a complete self-healing experience and to allow yourself the time to break old bad habits. We also offer shorter taster programs too. We want to share fun holistic heath with YOU. |

'Our Alternative' is located in a two story seafront building in
the heart of the sleepy traditional fishing village town of El Nido in Bacuit
Bay within the El Nido Marine Reserve. El Nido is a good base for diving,
snorkeling and exploring islands for visitors on a relatively tight budget.
You get what you pay for....It is simple and rustic. Artistically prepared
vegetarian/ vegan dishes, many of them are served raw or only slightly cooked,
plus healthy healing veggie soups, fruit and veggie shakes and herbal teas
are available downstairs. All prepared as close to organic as possible,
are great to help you loose weight and get yourself healthy. Seafood, mostly
served kinilaw style (raw and marinated in garlic and lemon or with wasabi)
can be served if ordered in advance. From here you can also receive your rejuvenation shakes, supplements and green drink, your various medically prescribed treatments and another other therapies too. (see rejuvenation-purification) for more info. |

| Upstairs
we have a small Library area with holistic healing oriented books and
print-outs, our round Temple and our main therapy space area, including
our 4 oval island tubs uniquely designed for therapies, especially clay
bakes; sun-baking; eating meals, snacks and supplements. All of these
spaces double up as Center sleeping areas and you can even sleep in the
tubs, (under the stars) in if you are a budget, budget visitor, providing
the weather is fine. These tubs are connected by little bridges, with small
lights and plants everywhere. It's a very simple romantic and spiritual
ambience. Here overlooking the bay, you can while away the hours, receive your twice daily abdominal massage therapy, local Filipino pampering indigenous treatments and use our Bio Energizing 'Chi' Zappers to enhance your immune system. There's also an Internet and Computer facility which is free for all in-house residents. All this with a spectacular view, overlooking the tropical pristine islands of the South China Sea of the El Nido Marine Reserve. |
